第1部 : 今日の推薦英語一語 (大声で言ってみる!)

 

答え; I have to get up early in order not to miss the first train.

 

説明;' in order not to miss the first train' が ( 始発電車を逃さないように )で

'to不定詞 副詞的用法'で '目的を表していることをはっきり' するために 'in orde not to..'を使ったこと.

' in order not to do...' は日本語では ' ...しないために'

 

例文１ I left early so as to avoid heavy traffic

例文2 I hurried in order not to miss the train

You have a great day today!

[ 今日は 'to不定詞副詞用法の中で' - '目的' in order to do.., so as to do.. 使う! ]

[ 英語文法, 暗記せずに正確に理解すると, 忘れない, すぐ会話にも! ]

   

1. 'to不定詞 副詞用法で - 目的' 表現で in order to do..., so as to do...は いつ使う?

 

答え; '目的'を表していることを明確にしたい場合 'in order to do..'. 'so as to do..'を使います.

He worked hard in order to win the prize

He worked hard so as to win the prize

 

追加説明;

1. so as to do...が in order to do... より公式的表現.

2. 否定は( ....しないように, ...しないために ) は in order not to do.., so as not to do

3. so as to do...は so as not to do ( ...しないように...)の 否定表現でもっと使う

 

今日は 次の表現をはっきり理解しましょう

in order to do... ..するために

in order not to do...しないように

so as to do...するために

so as not to do...しないように

 

1. Sally got up early in order to catch the first train

2. Sally got up early in order not to miss the first train

 

3. Sally got up early so as to catch the first train

3. Sally got up early so as not to miss the first train

 

参考; so as + 形容詞,副詞 + to do...は (...するほど ...する)の意味で, 程度, 結果を表す別の表現なので、

区別してください.（全く違う表現です）

 

He was so kind as to offer me his seat. かれは 親切にも私に席を許した

= It was very kind of him to offer me his seat

 

2. 日本語の文法とも同じであることを理解すると,忘れない, 会話力が2倍に!

 

'in order to do..., so as to do..' 表現も日本語にあります,

 

日本語でも, 普通 '目的'を表すためには '食べに'と言いますが,

'目的を明確に' 示したい時は  ' たべるために' と言います. ですから,

 

日本語で ' たべに ' は -> to eat

日本語で ' たべないように ' は -> not to eat

日本語で ' たべるために' は -> ' in order to eat, so as to eat'

日本語で ' たべないために' は -> ' in order not to eat , so as not to eat '

今日は 'learn' ( 過去形 learnt, learned 両方使う )

 

learnは 経験, 学習で知識を得る. studyは learnより 努力を要するし専門的な事を学ぶ

learn English - 英語を理解し使えるようになる

study English - 英語の文法, 単語を勉強する

[ 学ぶ ]

learn(他動詞) + 目的語 ;...学ぶ, 知識を得る

learn(他動詞) + how to do ;....する方法を学ぶ 

learn(他動詞) + to do ; ..することを学ぶ

 

[ ..だということを 知る, ..できるようになる ]

learn(他動詞) + that 節 ; ...だということを知る

learn(他動詞) + whether 節 ; ...の可否を知る

learn to do.... ; ...できるようになる、知るようになる

 

learn(自動詞) of [about] ....; ..について学ぶ, ..について知るようになる

learn(自動詞) from ...; ..から学ぶ

 

[ learn + 目的語 [ how to...] [to do..]... ]

1. learn French

2. I learned a lot from my father

3. learn how to swim

4. Today we learnt how to use the new software

3. He has learned to drive a car

4. He is learning to dance

 

[ learn that 節, [whether 節]..  ]
