I wish (that) I were rich.

Have a good day today!

' I wish (that) 節......'

(a) I wish (that) I were rich.
(b) I wish (that) It would not rain.
(c) I wish (that) I had met her.

(間違い文章) ' I wish (that) I am rich ' はため.
I wish (that) I were rich '  OK!

-- My life -- (part7) by Ed Lively

If you are reading this and thinking that I am a person who has never failed
and am possessed of an extra-ordinary intellect, you would be mistaken.
It has been the lesson that I've learned through my failures that have allowed
me my current success. There were times that I thought I was a complete
failure..... but I never thought of quiting. It was never an option.
There is also a world full of people who are smarter than I am. I consider
myself very average in all respects.

'Success comes when opportunity meets preparedness'

No challenge, No chance !

-- My life -- (part6) by Ed Lively

Someone once told me that " success comes when opportunity meets
preparedness. " I believe that this means that I have to learn new things
all the time and someday an opportunity to use my knowledge will present
itself. If I haven't been studying....I won't be prepared to take advantage of
the opportunities that may be revealed. I must be ready for success.

-- My life -- (part4) by Ed Lively

There are several lessons that I belive that I have learned over a
lifetime of various positions. First, life is about the journey ..... not the
destination. Each day, I try to make the most of my time. I spend most
days learning as much as I possibly can from those around me, from
classes, books and the internet. I believe that learning is a lifelong pursuit.
I also allow myself to be open to new possibilities. What I mean is that I
try new challenges, such as teaching in countries around the world.
I try not to shy away from anything that I fear.
