( 物を忘れた時の表現 )

タクシーに携帯を '忘れた' : I left my cell-phone in the taxi.

-> 物を置き忘れるのは動詞 ' leave ' を使います. forget ではありません.

leave は ' 物を置き忘れた' の意味で使う, forget は ......するのを忘れた場合使う

-> Be carefull not to leave your umbrella on the train.

-> Don't forget to attend the meeting.
