' 携帯電話を使わせてもらえませんか ?' を英語にすると ? - 7/31( 金）

今日は去年11月3日分を再送いたします。

 

" Will it be all right if I use your mobile phone?"

" By all means. Let's see..... There it is. It's in the right-

hand corner, next to the TV set."

 

「携帯電話を使わせてもらっていいですか?」「どうぞ。えーっと。。

あっ、あそこです。右手の隅のテレビの隣にあります」

( 他人の 携帯電話、 借りて使う場合がありますよね！ )

 

Words,Phrases & Patterns

> by all means ; ぜひどうぞ, = of course. = certainly

> right-hand ; 右側の。。, left-hand 左側の。。

> next to ; 。。の隣に

 

ここで use..... は  借りて使う  の 意味です. 

電話機を 借りて使う場合は borrow(借りる)ではなく、

use(借りて使う) を 使って Can I use your phone? と言います。

お金を　借りる時は borrowを　使います。

 

日本語で, ....電話、 携帯電話を 借りて使う場合は useを、

お金を借りる時は borrowを 使ってみて　ください.

 

例えば,

a. Can I use your mobile phone? ( 携帯電話 借りても いいですか? )

b. Will it be all right if I use your mobile phone? ( 携帯電話 使ってもらえますか? )

c. Can I borrow some money from you? ( お金　借りてもらえますか? )

d. She borrowed $200 from her parents ( 彼女は 親から $200　を借りた )
