今週のToday's English from Tokyoは過去の分から選んで
送りたいと思います。今日は去年10月28日分を再送致します。

busy now. Shall I have her call you back? "

 

私が彼女に折り返しお電話させましょうか。

 

( 以前よく暗記した会話文でしょうね ?)

 

ここで Shall I...... は 私が。。。。しましょうか と

相手に 提案する　時 使います

この場合の Shall 主語は ( I, we ) だけ 使います.

Shall I....? Shall we.....?

Should I...? Should we....? がより会話体.

 

日本語で, 私が 。。。しましょうか?/我々。。。しましょうか? と 相手に 提案する時

Shall I..... / Shall we.....を使ってください。

( Should I...../Should we.....)も

 

例えば,

a. Shall I do this?

b. Shall we meet at the station?

c. " When should we meet? " " How about Friday evening? "
