Today is Thursday - Let's start today by saying " 2009, I have a dream! "
This morning I will have a urgent meeting with our customer and I am sending this email
out ealier than usual. It will be warm here in Tokyo today with the daytime highs of 12
degrees and In Seoul, it will be sunny with -1/7(morning/daytime).

Seq 72 ( unit 5 代名詞 ) : lesson 4 二重所有格
[ "ある友達" で "ある友達" は 不特定なことで; a friend と表す ]
[ ' 私の ある友達' は a my friend のようには表現できないが それは 冠詞と 人称代名詞の
所有格を一緒には使えないからである]
[ この場合は, 代わりに " of + 所有格 " を用い, a friend of mime にして a と my を分離させる]
[ " ..... of + 所有格 "で表すことを 二重所有格 と いう ]
[ 二重所有格 表現の例 ]
1. This is a my cellphone ( X ) -> This is a cellphone of mine.
2. a my sister's friend ( X ) -> a friend of my sister's (私の妹とのある友達)
3. a my old friend ( X ) -> an old friend of mine.
4. a friend of mine と my friend の 差異は?
5. a friend of mine と one of my friends 差異は?
[ 所有格 + own + 名詞 ] ( own は 所有を 強調する 単語 )
6. This is my own house. ( 他のひとの家ではなく ) 私の家です.
7. You are responsible for your own future.

> be responsible for ; ..に 責任をとる
> own ; (形) (普通 所有を 強調して) 自分自身の
今日は " 二重所有格 " に ついて 勉強します.
1. 二重所有格を 理解するためには [冠詞]と [人称代名詞 所有格] は一緒に使えないことを理解することです。
This is a cellphone ( OK )
This is my cellphone ( OK )
(X) This is a my cellphone (a, my 一緒に使えない) -> This is a cellphone of mine.にする
(X) The my cellphone is black (the, my 一緒に使えない)
2. a と my を分離させる方法として [ ...of + 所有格 ] で 表現ことが "二重所有格".
例文;1は a my cellphone を a cellphone of mine にして a と my を分離させている
例文;2は a my sister's friend を a friend of my sister's にする
例文;3は a my old friend を an old friend of mine にする
3. a friend of mine と my friend の差異?
- a friend of mineは 私の 友達中 ある 友達 ( 不特定な友達 )
- my friend는 특정한 친구、 例えば いま現在隣にいる友達. my friend, Mr James.
4. a friend of mine と one of my friends の 差異は?
- a friend of mine は 私のある友達、不特定な 友達
- one of my friends は 私の何人友達の中で 一人 (一人、二人。。。をはっきり表す)
( two of my friends ; 私の何人友達の中で 二人 )
注意;
one of my friendsの of は "...の中で" の意味で、aではなくて oneであり、これは二重所有格の
表現ではないです。
例えば, 5つの中で 3つ は ; 3 of 5 といいます。
5. own は 소유を 強調する 単語; ( 他の人のものではなく) 私のもの
例文; 6,7 で 確認
日本語で;;
" 私の この目で 見ました " を 英語で言いたい時は?
" 私の友達の中で 一人は同意しなかったのですが、残りの人は私に賛成しました " ？
( my own eyes と one of my friends を使えばいい )
例えば;
(a) I saw it with my own eyes.
(b) One of my friends disagreed, but the rest agreed with me.
