1. a car, the car
2. an egg
3. I have a car, the car is black
( 一台の 車, その 車 )
( 一つの 卵 )
( 私は 一台の 車が ある, その車は 黒いだ )

> a ; (形容詞) 一つの, 一種類の 意味で 可算名詞の 単数を 表す
> an ;(形容詞) 母音(a,i,u,e,o)で 始まる 名詞の 前では a ではなく an。
> the ;(形容詞) その....( いくつかの中で、特定すること)
ここで a car, an eggは 一台の車, 一つの 卵の意味で、たくさんあるけれど一つの意味。the carは たくさんある中で 現在 話手と 聞き手が 示している 特定の
その 車 の 意味.
このような冠詞a, an,the は英語で なぜ 名詞前で この 冠詞をつける?
英語の 名詞には 加算名詞 （数える(countable noun)）名詞と 不加算名詞(uncountable noun)がある, 普通名詞は 加算名詞で、物質名詞, 抽象名詞, 固有名詞は数えない不可算名詞と いう. 原則的に a, an, theは 加算名詞前で 使う。
それは,まず 普通名詞を使う時、単数か, 複数かを 区別して 使うからです。
それと, 特定な ものを 示すときは theをつけて 今、 どのものを 示しているかを
はっきりする必要なあるからです。
ですので, 普通名詞(加算名詞)を 使う時は 以下の 四つを いつも 心かけて つかう。
1. 単数か, 複数かを必ず 区別して 使う
単数なら 名詞の前に 必ず a,anを つけて 使う( たくさんの中で特定なものではなく、 ただ、一つ )
2. 複数なら 名詞の前に -s を つけて 複数であることを 示す。
3. たくさんの中で ある特定なものを 示すために theを つける。
4. 名詞の数を 表すために 数の形容詞を つかう
two, three, many, a few, every
注意 ( much, a little )は 数の形容詞ではなく、量の形容詞で、
加算名詞とは使えない。不算名詞である物質名詞に使う
参考で, water, milkは 物質名詞でcup, packなどの 容器の いれないと使えないので, a, anではなく a cup of water, a glass of milk で 容器の名前を使って 単数を表す。
複数は, two cups of water, two glasses of milkで 表す。
チーズも 物質名詞で 不可算名詞で, これも 刀で切って 一つ, 二つ表すため、
, a piece of cheese, two pieces of cheeseで 表します。
名詞を使う時, 加算名詞か, 不可算名詞か 区別してみて, 加算名詞なら,
単数に a, anを, 複数に, -sを つける, 特定なことには, theを つける,
数( 二つ, 三つ, たくさん, 少し ...) を 表す時は two, three, many, a fewの
数の形容詞を つけて 使うことを 記憶してください。.
日本語で; pen ください, 窓 あけて くださいを 英語で 話したい時は?
例えば;
(a) Please give me a pen ( 日本語では penですが, 英語では 単数のpen, a penと
しなければならない )
(b) Please give me the pen ( そのpen ください )
(c) Please open a window ( 家の中の いくつかの 窓の中で ひつと あけて ください)
(d) Please open the window ( ある特定なその 窓を あけて ください)
