is about 8.5 degree this morning here in Tokyo.

This industrial country imports roughly two-thirds of

the raw materials it needs and exports approximately

two-fifths of the machinery it produces.

 

この工業国は必要な原材料のおよそ３分の２を輸入し、

生産した機械類の約５分の２を輸出している。

( 韓国の 産業モデルと 似ている!  )

 

Words,Phrases & Patterns

> industrial ; 産業の, 工業の ; industry 産業

> roughly ; (数) およそ、だいたい
> approximatelyh ; およそ, だいたい ; approximate

> machinery ; (集合的) 機械類, ( 機械一つ - machine )

> produce ; 生産する
 

ここで two-thirds of は 3分の 2, two-fifths of は 5分の 2.

分子が 複数の場合の 分数 表現は 分母(序数)に s を

つけます。

2分の...を 表す half は halves, 4分の..を 表す　quarter は

quarters. その他には 分母 序数に s を 付けます。

 

参考で, 以下の 例文で two halves, three quarters 以外は

分子 分母間に ( - ) ハイフン を 用います。

 

日本語で;

分子が 複数の 分数 を 表したい 場合は 序数 分母の

s を　つけて つかってください。 

 

例えば;

(a) 2分の 2 = two halves

(b) 3分の 2 = two-thirds

(c) 4分の 3 = three quarters

(d) 5分の 2 = two-fifths

(e) 10分の 4 = four-tenths
